The Full Story
Oak & Vine Israel began with a simple realization: the war isn't over, and the threat remains real but rebuilding must start now. Communities were torn apart, homes destroyed, and small businesses across the country, especially in the north and the Gaza Envelope, were hit hard. Soldiers came home wounded, many families were left grieving, and the economy that once supported entire towns now struggles to survive. A lot of communities are trying to rebuild with nothing, trying to build the safe spaces and support they deserve. Oak & Vine Israel was created to turn that struggle into something tangible - a way for people anywhere in the world to stand behind their recovery, one box at a time.
Mission
Our mission is to help rebuild what the war took; Economically, physically, and emotionally.
We do this by sourcing every item in our boxes directly from local Israeli businesses working to recover, giving them real revenue instead of charity.
Every profit made funds rehabilitation for wounded soldiers, support for bereaved families, and recovery for communities and homes destroyed by the conflict. It's a simple model with a real outcome: good products, made in Israel, fueling real reconstruction.
Vision
We envision Oak & Vine Israel as a lasting bridge between supporters around the world and the people rebuilding and restoring Israel - a steady source of real revenue for local makers, sustainable funding for recovery projects, and a growing global community that stays connected to Israel not through headlines, but through ongoing, hands-on support.
Founded in loving memory of Yotam Bodeg
Oak & Vine Israel is dedicated to the memory of Yotam Budeg, a 10.5 year old boy who understood something most adults take a lifetime to learn; giving is not something you do when you have enough, it's something you do because it's right.
Yotam was the first grandchild of his family on both sides. The only son of his mother, who survived the tragic accident that took his life in 2024. With every coin of his pocket money, he chose to help those in need; preparing food, showing up, giving without hesitation.
All that we do is in memory of Yotam, to carry what he believed in forward, louder and further than he ever got the chance to.
Our Legal Status
Oak & Vine Israel is currently in the process of registering as an official nonprofit ogranization with the Israeli Nonprofit Registry. During this formation period, we operate as a community initiative dedicated to our mission of supporting Israeli makers and funding rehabilitation and recovery efforts.
